The Ophthalmology Ward is a modern and well-developed structure with the ultimate aim of ensuring all possible care to patients suffering from eye diseases. Therefore, the whole team is trained in the use of the most recent techniques in order to optimize medical care and the conditions of comfort and security.

Always within this same framework, the Ward has just acquired a Laser Excimer platform of the latest generation:
the Bausch & Lomb Z 100. This laser device permits the correction of all optical flaws of vision with a precision and innocuousness unequalled to this day. |

After having submitted to an adequate presurgical examination intended for eliminating all contraindications, all myope, hypermetrope and astigmatic patients can thus realize their dream by getting rid of their glasses in optimal conditions of reliability and security.

Topical anaesthesia, phacoemulsification and flexible intraocular implants. All surgery is carried out by means of a small incision not exceeding 3 mm, which no longer requires the setting up of special structures. This “no stitch” surgery thus allows the patient to resume his activities 3 days after the intervention.

It should also be noted that the Opthalmology Ward is working towards the creation of a real Opthalmology Clinic, which should open in the summer of 2008.
